There's no set time frame for how long it will take your child to pass each stage, as progress varies by individual.
Our Learn to Swim programme uses continual assessment to support each swimmer in progressing at their own pace. Just like any other skill, the rate of progress varies amongst the different individuals, typically those who are practicing more frequently are often advancing faster.
To encourage this, we offer free access to public swim sessions for all swim lesson members, allowing extra practice outside of lessons. The primary goal is not just skill development but ensuring that each child learns to swim, whilst enjoying the process. A positive and enjoyable experience is as important to us as mastering the techniques.
