When will my child be able to move to the next stage?

To achieve an award, a swimmer must successfully meet all the required outcomes for a particular stage. This means that they must consistently demonstrate each skill with confidence before they can progress to the next stage. The swimmer must show not only basic understanding but also consistent performance of the techniques involved. 

The focus is on ensuring that every skill is mastered at a level where the instructor can see that the swimmer feels comfortable and is confident in their ability to perform it reliably before advancing to the next level of the program.
